Finally! I got these pictures uploaded!!! This works been done for at least 2 months now. Remember that greasy mess I pulled out of the BII for this truck, here it is after extensive work....

It even has good oil pressure, indicated by the gauge I am pointing at!

Then, that victory out of the way, take a peek at the shape of the leaf springs....

Made this front mount receiver, pretty happy with it...

Also swapped in a 1 piece Driveshaft... required a 2.5 x 2.5 bolt pattern 1330 flange I ordered from the good people at Denny's Driveshafts.... The difference was night and day...

I'm subscribing, I really like this build.

Thanks guys! I have done a lot put keep forgetting to upload or take pictures. I plan on also painting the frame, and fixing the rust in the bed before winter hits again. I want her fully protected. By now I know where these things are vulnerable and I am going to cover all my bases. I hope this winter is like the last one we had, cause this time.....I have 4x4. Which has proved very very useful and fun. The leveling kit is next hopefully.

Well, its been a while since I updated.... Other than basic maintenance, a compact subwoofer, and some other little odds and ends, I leveled the front end out using the washer under the coil technique. I am very very very happy with the result! I have been hunting a good set of 31's for the longest time, and after much hunting and getting the word around my chance came up on craigslist 30 miles away from me, a nice old but never used set of bridgestone duelers mounted on 15" craiger outlaw rims (Basically the same as the o.e.m. Ford Outlaw, but with better offset for the 10.50 width). She is just about almost where I want her, although I think to be happy I am going to have to source some 4.10's, (Stuffed in a D35 & 8.8 of course) fender flares, and some new paint. And some interior work.

........Oh yeah, and a 4.0. If I really go through with regearing the truck, I would looooooovvvvveeeee to swap in a early 90's 4.0 motor/dash/electrical/mazda tranny.

Looking really nice buddy, those tires did wonders.

They sure did! Hell they even dropped my mpg's so low I wonder if I will be able to afford to drive it! lol. Have you tried buffing your paint out slo96gt?

I just picked this one up.....its about time I got something with some 4x4 capabilities.... Its also a High Rider.... extended cab which is really nice but I do hate the looks of it... The body is decent...interior is red, ew. Paint will surely polish up. These are pics taken today tomorrow morning shes coming home!

The 2.9 needs heads. Funny story, I almost bought a BII a few months ago. The body was too rough but the 2.9 ran Great. The guy called me and told me i could have the thing minus tires for $250. I nearly fell over at the timing... so I got a good motor for this truck already, as well as a plethora of other parts for $250.....and being that I paid $400 for the truck and a spare Trans and ECU, its needless to say I made out I think....

dont look like a high rider to me.:dunno: just a stx.

How much did that Drive Shaft Flange cost you?? and what is the part number on it??
