Was bidding on it last night and it went for more then I was willing to pay, but this afternoon I got a second chance offer on it.

For $150 I think I did pretty good.

It's an alpine x305s. I don't even own a CD anymore so I think it will suit me fine.

I'm not much on the looks but from all the reviews it's looking better.

It's used but looks like a new one with all the factory accessories.

I have never really been into cd's, they don't last me but about a week before every song skips.

*pointing thumbs at self* this guy

i also have a tape player in my EX. i only have one cassette in there though, (Pronounced 'Lĕh-'nérd 'Skin-'nérd).....guess if you're gonna have one, it should be a good one

Yup it has the rear USB which is what I wanted since I have some plans for a slick little iPhone dock in my center console and don't want a wire plugged into the front.

screw CD's i just ripped a CD player out of my truck for an old tape deck for a few reasons
1: no AUX input, with cassette, i can use an adapter
2: CDs skip over bumps or if it gets dusty, i live on a dirt road so...
3: I still use cassette tapes :icon_twisted:

ive bought CD's but i usually rip em onto .MP3 and copy them on Cassette.
TBH, cassette tapes last longer than CDs for me...

I guess I'm too young, never even owned a cassette tape in my life. :dunno:

4) nobody wants to steal a tape player

lol, when i first got my b2, it had a sweet pioneer tape player in it. i dont think i got a cd player until my senior year of high school. i've never really been much into music though. i've probably bought less than 20 cd's my entire life (i'm 28 now, so less than 1 a year lol) when i'm driving i have espn radio on or john boy and billy in the morning.

yep, theres a reason i used an old sony walkman cassette player in highschool, cause i was one the few people there who didn't get there ipods jacked.
