Ok on my 94 ranger the bed is crooked on the passenger side there is a 3 1/2 inch gap between the bed and the cab.. On the driver-side there is a inch and a half to 2 inch gap. Is the bed adjustable or is something bent?

The bed simply sits loosely above the frame. The only thing holding it in place are the 6 bolts (3 per side) that fasten it to the frame rails.

1. Remove the plastic bed liner, to expose the bed bolts.
2. Loosen all 6 bed bolts with a Torx T-55 wrench. It helps to use a 3' cheater-bar to add leverage to your wrench handle.
3. Push & slide the bed, to move it back into alignment. Should be just over 1" between bed and cab.
4. Tighten the 6 bed bolts.

Only thing I'd add to Cvar's guide is to blast your nuts (on the truck) with PB Blaster...they used those C-Clip or whatever they are called and if they are rusted to the bolt there is a good chance they can snap and just spin around...

This does mean a bit of crawling on your back and shielding your eyes from the spray that, in my case, usually ends up splashing back at my face...

You might want to pull them all out and clean them up with a wire brush and then something on them to try to protect them from rust...

I just ordered a new bolt set off of eBay. Do to the fact the bed is rhino lined and the bolt heads are filled in.

Good idea to have new ones...if you decide to cover the bolt heads over, stuff something like Kleenex (tissue paper) into the head so you can always pull it out and undo the bolts if needed...

I'm gonna get some Herculiner recoat the bed then install the new bolt set. Them hope that the Chrome finish on the bolts isn't half aśś lol

Might want to wire wheel the frame and coat it also before you put the bed back on...I spent a small fortune on frame restore only to find out ten (or more) years later that I could have done a better job...because the rust came through in a few spots that it should not have...so I want to do a better job on my new frame.

That's a great idea
