I'm not sure if I hooked up my e-brake properly...put on new cables but used the original connector thingy...but lost the spring...

What I need is a picture of someone's truck that is set up correctly so I can modify mine as needed...

The brake actually works...but I don't like the looks of it (rusty already and I can't get it to tighten even one notch...it may not actually need to be tightened, but I seem to remember that I had to adjust it on my original setup...

thanks in advance...I am going to try to find an example in the junkyard if I can...but they seem to be disappearing faster than virgins at an all night wienie roast...

OK...so I didn't want to hijack another thread and found my original post on this...I would like to see an example of the connection between the front and rear parking brake cables...mine seems to be missing something (aside from the fact that I can't adjust them right now with normal tools) because the pedal does not spring back all the way..it comes back part way and I have to pop it up with my foot or reach down and pull it up...not an easy thing to do at times...

All the cables and connectors are recently new...and I rarely use my PB due to being able in most cases to find level parking...but...it's not 100% so it's not OK with me...

I sprayed the adjuster with WD-40 and swore at it a few times thinking that would loosen it up...but the adjustment nut is locked for some reason...I even took a wire brush to the threads and they appear clean...

Anyway...that I can figure out...but if anyone has a pic of the connection at the back showing springs and how the cables are connected I'd appreciate it...I would send money if I had any to spare...lol
