Ok, not to sound clique but i had a dream last night. I have my 98 ranger and that my fiance and I are going to try for kids in the next year. As this makes me happy it also makes me sad. A major dilemma has come about, MY TRUCK. As it would not be adequate for a family. But since my truck has been stolen and recovered the body is a little ruff.

So my dream is to take a 95+ explorer and cut off behind the rear seats. Cut off the rear of my ext cab, mate the two together and shorten the bed to fit. Yes, I know that it will take alot of work and time but my truck means the world to me. So below are a picture of my truck and an explorer. it does not have to be color matched. Thank you in advance and if there is any problem with pictures let me know and i will find a better one.

I have only one question to this idea of yours.... you already have both vehicles... correct? if so whats the delema>? just drive both, why chop up 2 perfectly good trucks? and if you don't already own the exploder, and you like them, go out and get a 1,000 dollar truck and save the hassles of destroying 2 trucks. for the time and cash to do this feat you are better off just getting a new rig for the family.

i dont have both vehicles and i can get my hands on an explorer that has been punched in the back from a friend. so i am just trying to see what it would be if this project looks good chopped.. so thats why its here. Any help. PLEASE>>>>

Just to let you know im not happy with how this came out, i tweakeed it quite a bit. Just not happy with the job. And as for the project... This looks like a lot of work. I did strech the bed a bit cuz it just didnt seem right b4. You shouldn't notice, but just to let you know. And this was what you were talking about right?
