I have photo paper that is marked for inkjet printers. Can I use this in my laser printer or will it melt and screw up my printer?

Why bother with photo paper in a laser? They work best with plain paper, and will NOT look like a photo.

I doubt they will melt (though it's a possibility -- they aren't designed for high heat), but jamming is a distinct issue.

I believe you can buy photo laser paper. You can try running one or two through the machine but after that it will probably be too hot for it.

DO NOT USE INKJET PHOTO PAPER IN A LASER PRINTER. The coating will melt off causing a mess in the fuser and the print will look like crap. If you do by accident, usually running a few sheet through afterwards will clean it up. There is a chrome coat paper that works real nice and looks like photo paper, just run it through like cardstock.

Thanks for the answer. I already have enough stuff to fix and I don't need to add a laser printer to the list.
