Is this typical of most all years? Mine being the 93 I'm about ready to get started on the auto to manual change over with my friend Hank. NOT looking forward to crawling under my truck but really want the end results!

Yah that is what I put into the Rat, working from the pedal arm in toward the bell housing. I had loose captive nuts with frozen bolts to deal with on the MC mount to the fire wall. I would deal with the mounting, get all that hand tight, then unbolt the MC from the fire wall so you can bleed it What yr is the pedal and support from? I think '93-97 will work. Maybe more. Please post follow up. I would advise new hydraulics and read the directions and you will have no ( less) trouble bleeding the system. While the truck is out of service what other things are wrong. The Rat needed new brake hard lines, hoses , calipers, . The stuff crumbled on me as I tried to fix it. The list grew as I went along. But every improvement brings a smile :D

the pedal assembly is from a early 90s. looks just like the photo. the M5OD is out of a 98 the hydrulics look fine but I'll get new everything I have a thread running but not quite ready to resume the photo journey just yet :)

If the wiring for the interlock is not there dont add, it is a pia to begin with and is mainly for the folks who dont know how to start a vehicle anyways.

As to adding new hydralics yes do, autozone has lifetime parts and that is what I have been using no issues. When I do have the system apart to work on they replace no questions as to whether the part is working or not. If you r&r 1 piece do both particularly if the trans is out. A new one will hasten the failure of the older, dont ask how I found that out.

It was collateral damage in my battle to get the original MC free from the dash. I jumped it with something. I drove MTs for 30 yrs without a clutch switch. How can I miss something I never had ?
