Im looking to do a good performance exhaust system on my ranger's 3.0.

Not sure if i have egr but its a 1999 flex fuel if that helps and i would like to remove the egr. I'm thinking new headers and completely removing cats and go with a supper 44 muffler. How loud would that be? Also i believe there is a sensor i will have to deal with as well. If its too loud what about high flow cats?

hey mountain ranger is that the stroker kit you got in your 3.0? or what is it?

MTNRGR; You bored your 3.0 L .030 over, machined the cam, port&polish, new pistons (balanced? Domed?), complete valve job. What did you do to the crank and rods to modify the stroke? What rods are you using? What crank shaft? Did you have to modify the lower portion of the block to clear the longer throw?

thanks for the reply, ill be sure to keep that in mind. Im actually glad to see the jba headers dont do much since they go for about 700.
