performance chips on ebay?

have any of you seen these chips on ebay that guarantee more HP and mpg? do they actually work>? i know nothing about this stuff cuz there are no chips on my 65 mustang. any info is greatly appreciated. maybe one of you have tried one out?

hahaha thats what i thought, as i was looking through past posts. so i guess all the ricers have no idea what they are talking about when they say "they've bought a new chips" and all that crap? of course they are ricers, they really dont know anything about cars

is that the jumper chip? those really only do anything on a high horse power motor, 300-400hp. and even then only ad maybe 5-10 horse. you probably wouldnt even notice it on a ranger. it actually just tells one of your sensors it is colder air. you can make one for like $3. just a resistor.

Holy shit, literally the 10th time this has been brought up, no, they don't work. Buy something from superchips, jet chip, or any other reputable company if you want something that works

if you want a performance chip, dont look on ebay. like they already said, its just a resistor that tricks your computer into thinking the air is colder than it is. on the other hand, i have heard good things about bama chips

i would spend the money and get a jet performance module, it is more expensive but it actually works, i put one in my 98 3.0 and there was a definite increase in power and torque. well worth the $250 IMO.
