Lots of comments, most tongue in cheek, only a few possible solutions. As yet, the safety issue has not been mentioned. You live on a major highway. It can't be in any way safe to pull into your drive and back out onto the highway in order to turn around.
So.... that said, what is the solution. A few questions to think about...
- Do you REALLY NEED both drives, meaning that "extra" drive (the one on the right side of the picture?
- Is that a road on the very right side of the picture? Could you tie into that road and eliminate both roads exiting onto the highway.
- For safety could you enlarge a "turn around" area adjacent the highway by expanding the left drive at the road? You could then place a sign saying something like "turn around here please," or the like. You might also talk to the highway department about them funding and actually building a turn around spot. Don't mention to them it's because people are using your drives, but emphasize the safety aspect. They own the right of way and might built it for you at no cost to you. Doesn't hurt to ask.
Most people are not jerks and it can be assumed they just want to turn around safely, taking the path of least resistance, which happens to be in your one lane and out the other. If you make it easy for them to turn around w/out using your two drives, that should work. You'll always have the occasional jerk or dilbert and it isn't worth losing any heart beats over those mindless folks.
