How far should the clutch pedal travel before I feel significant resistance?

Should be some resistance right off the bat (about ½ inch or so down), with the strongest resistance occurring about 2-3 inches down.

The clutch system on these trucks is automatic in that there isn't an adjustment. I think I have about an inch at the top of my pedal before I can feel the clutch start to slip.

Also please don't post the same question in two separate threads.
Thanks.
