My credo
Coming in second just makes you the first loser!
I was going to replace my PCV valve while doing a tune up but I'm finding conflicting part numbers. I have an electrical connector on mine so the one at RockAuto is wrong. I've come up with EV273, EV271 and 3F2Z-6A666-AA. They are all Motorcraft numbers. Does anyone know which is the right one? The longer number is like $70 while the others are more like $45-$50. Would anyone recommend just cleaning and reusing the same one? It's not broken but I know they need to be replaced from time to time. Thank you!

Just clean it, soak it in gasoline or similar to clean the oil residue out of it

PCV valves are all the same, gasoline engines all run using the same vacuum levels in the intake, 18-21"

Difference is case size/connection to valve cover and hose connection, 180 or 90deg
The more expensive ones have heater connection, electric or coolant hoses

The 4.0l SOHC has that goofy twist lock setup on the valve cover, be careful as the valve cover side often breaks
So twist and pull it out

Not sure if 2007 has the electric or coolant heater, you would need to look at yours
If its the coolant type you can usually snap off the plastic "loop" and put it on the new one, or clean the old one and snap it back on

Not sure what year this electric version first appeared on the V6~4.0L~SOHC?
My 2001 had PCVValve with the goofy Coolant OxBow; deleted that 5/16"ID Coolant loop non-sense several years ago with no regrets.
Part number I have here for the PCVValve with ElectricHeat is 3f2z-6a666-aa.

That's what mine looks like. It has the electrical connector. I will just clean it like RonD said. Thanks!
