The instructions for 555 will tell you where to mount it...

is it actually necessary to solder all the connections, or are the 3 way splice connectors good enough?

so is it kinda like install the remote starter in fully then put the bypass in on top of that install?

if you guys don't mind, what i would like to do is scan the installation wiring diagram, and just write in where i think all the wires go, based on the diagram on bullydog's website and i'll post it up here, you guys tell me if it sounds right...

I always solder Remote Starts and Alarms. I want them to be as reliable as possible.

The PATS plug should be located in the column. Its a four pin plug.

The TX wire is Violet/Brown
The RX wire is Blue/ Gray

Can't help you with that aftermarket bypass module, I always just use a ford one and splice it into whichever remote starter system I'm working with. Usually either Ford, CompuStar or Prostart.

Solder and tape all connections, no scotch locks.....
