Passenger side rear leaf spring bracket broken, driver side shackle broken.

I have heard that the only stupid question is, one that is not asked. So, I was just wondering if I could bolt the leaf spring right to the frame with a #8 grade bolt, bushing and washers or would it put enough stress on the front that they would break also?

OK. I think I figured out why that would not work. The spring would not be able to flex if both ends of the spring are solid.

Dear lord!! Lol. No don't do that.

Look at my build thread- I replaced all the hangers because they were rusting out. Get them online if you can as the local dealership robbed me, I didnt want to wait though.

If you dont have the brackets then the spring wont line up on the axle as well, dont think that would work out too well.
