would this idea work? my parts b2 has gray interior just like my 94 ranger, both trucks have 60/40 seats so i was wondering if i can take out the '60' driver seat from the ranger and put in the '40' passenger seat from the b2 to make buckets. any problems with doing this?
thanks

I have driven a 95 ranger that had 2 passenger seats in it. It was fine except for the seat back adjustment was on the wrong side of the seat.

Yeah, that was my idea too. Seat back adjustment and seatbelt latches would be on the wrong sides. Other than that, should work fine.

You can cut middle seat off from underneath and then wrap the seat cover back over the cut. Worked great when I put a set of second gen seats into my Dad's Fox mustang

I don't remember if the seat belts were an issue or not. I think that they bolt to the floor, but I am not completely sure and it might have had them removed.

The belts ride on a slider that bolts to the floor. The belt also bolts to the seat to keep position as you move the seat. It could work, but it'd be a pain.

I took this route on mine that had the 60/40 split. Just take your time cutting the foam so that it matches the other seat as closely as possible. After you get it all cut just install a passenger side seat cushion cover over the modified drivers seat base. If you're lucky enough to get the same fabric for the new seat cover you're done and will hardly see the difference. If you cant find the right fabric pattern, no fear, just put some aftermarket seat covers on both seats and no one but you will know the wiser.

thanks i knew about that but my seat tracks are all f'ed up on the drivers side so i wanted to swap to a whole new seat
