ok, so the gen6 rangers are going on year 3 models in a few months and we don;t know alot about what can be used between the gen5 and the gen6 trucks. i know some things will bolt in and fit and some, of course, won't because of hte body and interior changes.

but we don't know about suspension, exhaust, axles, etc so i think we should try to start coming up with a list of those things.

no-go:
all exterior body panels?
most interior stuff?
2.3 from 2025 models
light assemblies
10r60 transmission

Verified good to go:
shocks
5g rear headrests, and they tilt
Non raptor bronco wheels
5g side steps
Bed cover (not gator efx, though. part number must end in 33 to fit a gen6)
Sub box underneath rear seat
3rd brake light
MB3Z-18A099-D, front strut bearing (2022 bronco and 6g ranger)

unknown:
exhaust related components since the frames are different. different hanger points?
leaf springs?
lift kits?
bumpers? i assume won't fit since the frame changed but until some lines one up?

i wonder about this stuff since there is so much gen5 stuff available and still not much gen6. like cat back systems. i found a borla catback for the gen5 2.3 trucks for 500 bucks buts its 1k for the gen6. they look identical in the crappy generic pictures but are they actually similar enough to bolt in?

i tried gen5 wheels on my truck and they are fine. no issues and they look good.

some guys have put their old tonneau covers on their gen6 with no trouble, but some didn't fit because of the slight width difference in the beds. specifially some hard covers.

people already ahve found out the side steps bolt in exactly the same.

so what have you guys tried or read about?

I don't believe many if any frame/suspension related things would be cross compatible. The 19-23s were old tech by the time we got them, sitting on the global t6 platform. The 24+ rangers are pretty much broncos with truck bodies on them.

i wish a gen5 would show up in the junkyard so i could pull things to compare. lots of places list suspension stuff like lift spacers and things as 19-15. i also wonder if hte spacer and leveling kits from the f150 are the same since they are also 3 bolt flange front strut assemblies.

i have read lots of bronco parts interchange, like you are saying. suspension and skid plates do

Once I get some money back in my damn bank account I'm gonna start looking out for ranger raptor front suspension take-offs on eBay and stuff.. give the bronco a cool "factory" mid travel setup.. way bigger front brakes too 👍🏻

I believe that the only thing that is the same between the 2019-2023 models and the 2024+ is the engine, transmission, and axles as long as it is a 2.3 Ecoboost equipped model.

The bed might be similar enough for stuff that fits a 2019-2023 to probably work.

The suspension might be the same deal but with the frame change, maybe not.

Beyond that, it's going to be pure trial and error aside from things like door sill protectors.

Here is stuff from the ranger g6 site that people commented they verified

5g rear headrests, and they tilt
Non raptor bronco wheels
5g side steps.

I have read the bronoc skids fit too but i have to find the thread
