Part Identification Help

Hello. Thanks for looking at my post.

*I found this part in the engine drivers side after cleaning it. Was not there before I started to clean engine so must have fallen off of something. Can anyone tell me what it is or where it goes and if I need to replace it before starting my engine?

Thanks for any help; just being cautious never seen it before and internet said different things like a pvc grommet (which I just replaced other day so not it) and its from a Nissan starter etc...so not sure what the heck it is myself.

That… is surprising unfamiliar to me… I don’t have my 3.0 truck here to look at either. Doesn’t look like anything I remember seeing on a 4.0 truck and I’ve had them stripped down before. The only thing remotely close to that shape that I can think of offhand is one of the bushings for the top stud on a shock…
