Parking brake spring broke.

My parking brake release spring broke, Now the release handle moves freely. Does anyone know where to get on online for a 2002 Ranger? The part number would be nice also. i wont be able to get to a dealer for a couple days. thanks in advance.

I had the same issue with my Ranger parking brake pedal spring.
The dealer near me said Ford does not sell a replacement spring, they only sell a complete pedal assembly.
I ended up obtaining a replacement spring from eBay seller, which was much less expensive and much easier to install than complete assembly.
