I finally got the 07 Ranger FX4 axle with added Explorer rear disc brakes installed on my 1992 Ranger and it's working pretty well -- the 3.55 ratio really is a great match for the auto trans in the truck.

Only problem is that the E-brake cable from the parking brake pedal to the first connector under the bed on the left side is too long so it sags down and doesn't engage the parking brakes at all when the pedal is pushed.

Is there some adjustment for this under the dash or is a shorter cable available?

I had a similar problem on the Rat. I zip tied the front cable to a bracket for the inner fender. This is right where the cable comes out of the cab. it did the trick. :D
