89 2.3 it's not perfect but me n my dad did our best.
I'll post more when i wax it. There's a couple run ins i gotta fix too.

Looks good! I love that tailgate! We all get runs. You can always sand them out with fine grit paper. maybe begin with 600 0r 800 then 1000, then 2000 then 3000, etc

Nardo Grey went with base, i believe it's called. Went to a local automotive paint store and they helped a lot with everything.
 
That does look good.

Was your paint water base, or old style solvent based?
