Painted Deerhoofs?

Those do look good. I too don't like painted stock rims but you guys pulled it off. I don't have that option with 14 inchers stock. I mean I guess I could paint them but they don't look cool at all.

I like them. I am going to paint mine flat black. I am getting some goodyear wrangler duratracs for mine.

The stock rims from the '80s look great in gloss or a Ford "duratough" black.

I have a set of snows in duratough and an all season set in gloss black. Powdercoated on both sets.

I saw a set with just the holes painted. Didn't look too bad.

It's the same color as the truck.

OK, quick question for you guys: What's the best product or way to clean and polish up those deer print wheels? Just came across 7 15" in ones out of Pa, in pretty nice shape. I'm in no hurry to get them done, plan on spending some time on them when it's cold outside. thx for your input. Lee

Since they're aluminum, make SURE to use self etching primer to paint them with or the paint will just peel right off. They sell it in auto parts stores in a spray can.
