Paint worthy of a golf cart?

I'm probably going to go with Krylon since they're owned by Sherwin Williams.

Krylon was about the best rattle-can spray paint I've used, but with the disclaimer that it was some years ago.

This might be a little bit late. Sorry, I just saw this at Harbor Freight, a pressurized paint sprayer that holds 3 times as much as an aerosol can. You can save a lot of money if you buy paint in bulk, not in aerosol cans.

I have not read the directions but I would imagine it would be easy to clean too. Just throw some solvent in and spray it through.

Rhino liner the whole thing? Tinted innyour favorite color?

Or covering the whole thing with orange shag carpet would really give it a cool '70s vibe.

Golf turf. With a hole in one flag instead of a safety flag. And a Happy Gilmore hood ornament

. . and driven by an old hippie in white a sport coat and a pink crustacean.

All that it needs now is some tasteful wood-grain vinyl on the sides and a "Boomer On Board!" bumper sticker.

Most automotive pair suppliers can get you custom mixed paint in aero cans. I’ve done it for work a few times for touch up paint on machines.

Yes! We have at least one shop, NAPA, which does this, even checking with a chip against the original finish before the final mix. They offer 3 paint systems based on price. The most expensive is a 2 part epoxy finish which lasts as long as the factory original.

Will @Lefty ’s sprayer can work with these? Can you get this paint with metallic/pearl?

Pretty sure this is not meant for paint. It's use is for penetrating fluids and other sprayable oils.

I would imagine that the answer is yes. Metallics spray through a cheap spray can nozzle.

I don't really like the look of metallics, but I have had pretty good luck with laying them down. There's a bit of a trick to it. Use the Google and practice first.

And yes, I double checked that Harbor Freight sprayer. It's not meant for paint.

And by metallic, I mean flake. I don’t like the chrome looking things

Something else to note... These are plastic panels. They aren't super rigid. They're probably 3/16" thick plastic. There will be some flexing that the paint will have to be happy with. That's one reason I'm leaning toward the tractor paint. I figure that ought to be tougher than a nicer looking car-type paint.

Nowadays cars are made with some plastic panels. Any good paint will stay stuck.
