P0401 and P0402 Codes - EGR

I am getting both a P0401 and P0402 code - too little and too much exhaust gas recirculating. I replaced the DPFE sensor and the EGR valve, but still the same problem. All the vacuum hoses seem to check out and there seems to be significant vacuum, although I'm not sure how to test that.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Make sure the erg tube is not clogged, I have seen that happen alot. I replaced the DPFE sensor on two family members cars and both times the aftermarket parts were junk, I ended up going to the dealer to get the sensor, alot more expensive but the car was fixed in the end.
