Overheating or just bad flow???


Well that is pretty fast, so thats a critical problem. Better than a head gasket problem is a clogged radiator. What you could do is back flush it and see if it cleans up. Or . . they aren't too expensive.
 
Yeah, I'm running some radiator flush through it now and will flush some more with the water hose later to see if that gets things moving. If not, I'll replace the radiator and remove/check the water pump just in case.

If you found two step acid flush, they can work. If it was just a one part flush . . I haven't seen too much success with those. Either way, try running water backwards through the radiator when cleaning it all out.
