Overhead Light Switch Not Working

Well that was fast, it stopped working again and I literally didn’t do anything. I went to the store, on my drive over it was working, then on the way home it wasn’t working. It’s gotta be something with the wiring I would imagine right? Or maybe some kinda relay fault? I’m just at a loss.

The best issues are intermittent...

Maybe something only works when cold?

Intermittent issues are a nightmare. It could be wiring, or it could be cracked solder or contact somewhere that only makes contact in certain temperature conditions (I had a clock that was like that).

Well shoot, I have no idea how to decipher this wiring diagram in my Haynes manual. I guess it could be a temperature thing. Where should I start now😂😭 I could pull off the SJB and take a look at it but I have no clue, I think the dimmer switch goes right to the SJB I think, maybe someone can confirm that for me

I see a dimmer switch here but have no idea how to read this mess, could someone decipher this for me and maybe point me where to look? This is from Haynes by the way. Thanks!

Sorry, man; wrong diagram. That "dimmer switch" is for the head lights.

How is there a dimmer switch for the headlights?
