overdrive question

everynow and then ill be driving and my overdrive off light will start flashing. if i have overdrive turned off i have the light that tells me its off. thats what starts flashing. i can push the overdrive off/on button and it does nothing. i can shut the truck off and turn it back on and it fixes it. ive also got the check engine light on from an o2 sensor dont know if that has anything to do with it. any idea why it flashes?

The o/d light will flash if the pcm sees a problem with the transmission. You need to start by having it scanned for codes to tell you which direction to go.

alright. appreciate it much friend. payday its going in to get put on the comp for the check engine light so ill just tell them it flashes sometimes. thanks
