I picked up a 4wd 93 Ranger with a 4.0,5 Speed,super cab for $400.00. Other than the front end, this truck runs damn good. AC ice cold, cruise works, etc. $100.00 later after I picked up another dana 35 from a 95. This truck should be a nice dependable beater. This truck will probably see more air time than Tony Hawk at the X games BTW, The bad front end I took out had NO grease inside.
Thanks to the people here on the forum for giving my noob Ranger ass some tips.

ya definatly, and id go over the truck with a fine tooth comb, i bet u the back dont look that much better either, id pull that cover and see what u got

Yeah, every seal and bearing in the front end was shot. The tranny fluid and radiator are great. I havent pulled the back cover yet. This is a low budget project so a locker won't end up in the front of it.

make sure the axle shafts are worth putting back in.if the bearing or seal surfaces are rusty grab some shafts too.
