Guess What? Totalled my truck Friday night. Chuck the 97 Ranger is dead. He is survived by his 2 passengers, Matt(me) and Kiera. Not a scratch on me. Not even sore. Kiera is a bit sore, and rightfully so being that most of the impact was on her side.
We t-boned a 09 Chevy avalanche. We were going about 60-70 upon impact. Its not luck that everyone walked out of that, i was not driving this vehicle alone Friday night.

Standing next to the passenger door is Kiera, The girl I tried to kill vehicularly, but my truck would not be a part of that kind of thing.

Notice that NO glass was broken. The dash and interior remained intact. There was basically no force that made it's way through the cab. This truck did one hell of a job protecting it's passengers. Even after 12 years of abuse and tinkering, every safety feature in the truck worked perfectly, by the grace of God.
Kiera was taken to the hospital in an Ambulance because she had had a previous concussion, and i made sure that they took her wether she wanted to go or not. I had to pull Kiera from the truck, because she was in shock and couldnt move. She was virtually uninjured(other than a tiny nick on her finger), but she was traumitized and couldnt move. I have experience on the fire department that helped me alot, and somehow I reacted WITH that experience and didnt freak out.
