Orange ftw

Thanks everyone! I'm definitely not done with the mods. Doubt I ever will be. I'd definitely like to do a SAS and put some 3/4 or 1ton axles in, but I've also got an LM7 sitting in the garage waiting to go in so I'm thinking about just building another ranger from scratch. As for the battle scars...The rear fender was me blowing a wooden fence all over the parking lot where I worked right in front of my boss...because I was doing donuts in the snow.(It was his idea believe it or not) The damage on the front fender was driving through a tree that I thought was a bush. Took about a third of the tree home as a souvenir. There certainly hasn't been any lack of excitement.

when you say LM7 do you mean LS7? If so although i'm not a Chevy person and would never mix brands, isn't that alot of motor for a ranger? I would look into beffin everything up like the put in in 1/2 tons and such before going that far, but... ive seen V8 conversions in mostly stock rangers many time before and I may be talking out of my ass for all I know thats just my .02

I like it! I see a couple different tires throughout the pics...now it has 33x12.5x15 bald all terrains tho?

Yeah, I bought it with bald 31s. Put some 32s on it but they were biased ply swampers and were pretty horrible on the road. Got a deal on some very old all terrains that only had a couple thousand miles on them. I've added another 25,000 miles on them and they're down to about 50%. Not bald but definitely not enough tread for the kind of driving I'd like to do with it. But they're all terrains to begin with so they're not meant for the terrain I'd like to go on in the first place. Will get some mud tires when I make enough money.

No, I mean LM7. It's a 5.3 liter v8 out of a 2001 Silverado. Kind of like the truck version of a corvette motor. Aluminum heads but an iron block. Some interchangeable parts. It's a substantial increase in power over the 4.0 but I don't plan on installing it until I get 3/4 or 1ton axles, a transmission and transfer case from a full size chev and some other stuff to complete the project. I know simply installing the motor would break my drive train.
