So I bought my ranger three or four years ago simply as a means to transport my stuff back home from California. Cost $1500 with 70k miles on it. All stock aside from a 4" plate lift, leaf springs out of who knows what, and some bald 31's. I got home and decided to keep it and she's been sucking all the money out of my wallet ever since.

Current Specs:
1991 Ranger Custom
4.0 V6 with approx 102k
5sp transmission
4.56 gears
Manual hubs
Explorer rear end
15x10 Cragar Soft 8's
Some very old 33x12.5 All terrains
James Duff 5.5 progressive rate coil springs
Custom extended radius arms
2" coil spring spacers
3" Body lift
Longer shackles
Tube bumpers front and rear
Double tube roll bar
Several extra lights
Cheap racing bucket seats
Several other things I'm forgetting

Shortly after I bought her

My first change was putting on some 32x11.5 TSL SX's

Added a bed box and some lame driving lights too.

The interior was in surprisingly nice shape.

I wanted bucket seats though so I installed these.

I wasn't happy with the speaker box I built so I made another one.

$6 Polishing compound. Well worth the money.

Got some 33's but still only had 4" of lift. Rubbed everytime I turned the wheel to park.

Got some James Duff 5.5 coils and shocks. Much much softer ride than the 4" lift coils that were in it. Added the body lift in there somewhere too.

Bought an Explorer rear end and some 4.56s and a Trak-lok. Front D35 is lincoln locked.

And of course, added some mud.

I think that will do for now. I haven't been off road since adding the extended radius arms or the shackles(I think) so I'll be sure to get some better flex pictures when the time comes.

Hey another Washingtonian...sweet looking rig btw man!

I see you have some nice battle scars along the passenger side I'm jelous thats one hell of nice toy looks like you know what your doing. Have any plans for a SAS swap maybe to a Dana 44.

Looks good!

Now do something about that steering angle.

awesome truck man!! looks really nice, and seems like ur putting a lot of money on it lol

Thanks everyone! I'm definitely not done with the mods. Doubt I ever will be. I'd definitely like to do a SAS and put some 3/4 or 1ton axles in, but I've also got an LM7 sitting in the garage waiting to go in so I'm thinking about just building another ranger from scratch. As for the battle scars...The rear fender was me blowing a wooden fence all over the parking lot where I worked right in front of my boss...because I was doing donuts in the snow.(It was his idea believe it or not) The damage on the front fender was driving through a tree that I thought was a bush. Took about a third of the tree home as a souvenir. There certainly hasn't been any lack of excitement.

I like it! I see a couple different tires throughout the pics...now it has 33x12.5x15 bald all terrains tho?
