One thing to consider, is that if you decide to swap the 4.10's into the rear end, your front dif won't have the same gears, rendering your 4x4 to become a self destructing type
So unless you want to regear the front, i would wait on the rear end unless you NEVER plan to use your 4x4. And I know if you live in van, that when the snow does fall... that city turns to hells hundred acres in about four minutes. I would personally leave it for now. If the trucks going to the scrap heap, i would yank the rear axle if your getting it towed there, they can hook it up some other way
