I saw a set the other day at the local tire place and they looked like they were decent for mud terrain I just dont know how much they will last because i have never ran a set of mud terrains before.Has anybody ever ran a set of these.

Ask RSH he just got 3 for his truck so far. Hahaha

I have a set of Mickey Thompson MTZ's that have about 40,000 miles on them so far and still have pleanty of tread.

All M/t's are different so have good tread wear some have bad tread wear, all depends on the rubber and how you drive on it. I personally would stay away from anything toyo..

So I assume they are a toyo tire?

i cant tell how much they last. but
ryan(the mod) has a set on his 97 Ranger. ask him.

No they aren't... Toyo makes the Open country M/T which is Expensive, heavy as heck and wears out fast although a select few have had good experiences.

They look decent, but any mud tire you get will have faster tread wear then most tires they just last the same time because they have more tread lol. Do you plan on mud bogging or offroading where you would need M/t's?

lol very true well its gets pretty slick and with all terrains it blows.they gum up like crazy.so mud terrains are the best for that.

So you plan on mudding in some thicker muck then?

I would look at anything that has an open tread pattern for clearing out.

Ok well I pulled out my magazine for JP that rates tires and looks like your best bet for the best mud traction is:

Dick Cepek Crushers, Maxxis Creepy Crawlers, Nitto Mud Grapplers, Pitbull Rockers, anything Interco (besides the thornbirds).

But those Adventuros look like they would be a decent tire for mud. way better then any A/t.

yeah they rated them for street sand mud heavy rock snow and ice out of 4.

DC Crushers: street 2, sand 4, mud 4, rock 3, snow 4, ice 1
Maxxis Creepy Crawlers: street 2, sand 4, mud 4, rock 4, snow 3, ice 1
Nitto Mud Grapplers: street 2, sand 4, mud 4, rock 3, snow 3, ice 2
Pitbull Rockers: street 1, sand 4, mud 4, rock 4, snow 3, ice 1
And all the interco tires got 1 in the street catagory.

Those creepy crawlers look mean.lol But they dont come in a 33?

Might want to try the Maxxis Trepidors I saw a set and they look outright BEASTLY! Although the set I saw was the competition version so they were sponsor only. The regular ones look sweet though.

Those tires are sick.but they dont have a 33 lol but it goes from a 31 to a 35.
