It cost me $1,044.00 for everything. That includes shipping my old one back to them.

It's going to cost me about $200 and a case of beer to get it installed this weekend. I'm renting a buddy's shop, lift and tools... as well as his knowledge, to change it out.

Hopefully it won't take too long, gotta few football games to watch Saturday.

Yup. 1stop will void your warranty if you don't send in the core.

YEA i talked with them when looking in to getting a tranny and they said they need the core or they void warrenty because they need them to build more trannys. This one of the only reasons they stay as cheap as they do. I talked to a local shop and he said that he dose not touch them ford trannys any more and if i realy wanted it done bad that he would consider it for 2000.00. I found a explorer tranny from a junk yard for $350. I even got to test beat it around the yard first befor i had to lay on the ground and take it out.
