I got my first Ranger.

I wish i could go back to that day, you should have seen me. I Just traded my POS Cutlass to a dealership for the '91. I remember trying to pull out of the place, truck wouldn't even Idle wondering if its gonna die out pulling out into traffic, driving home the trucks chugging, backfiring, clunking in and out of gear while I'm hoping I can make it home but I still had the biggest grin on my face cus I just got my first truck! and Love

I sold her In May for $2500, I know my new truck is better but I still miss the '91 everyday and I still wish I never sold her.

Gone but not forgotten

Oh and next week well be one year with TRS!

Sweet, Im a little over a year and a half with my Ranger....and a little over a year and a half with TRS. Funny how they go hand-in-hand.

just under 3.5 years for me and my baby.

i forget when i first joined TRS since i wasnt a very active member for a long time.

i know how you feel about not wanting to let your first truck go. before my ranger i had an 85 s-10 (thats right, i was on the dark side). it had rust holes the size of fists in the rear quarters, the choke didnt work (bad news in alaska), the bed with its moldy plastic topper was more water tight then the cab...but i still loved and miss that truck

I know how you feel, except i don't think i will ever part with mine. Mine officially became mine 4 years ago this coming febuary. But it's been my dad's since 94, and he had another Ranger before that, an '88. Sure it might have alot more rust on it these days, but theres still something about it that won't let me get rid of it ever..i will drive, ride, steer, pull, or push that thing to the scrap, and i won't leave until i see the giant doors on that crusher close....but hopefully that is years away.

I'm on 14 years with my Ranger.

That '91 you had was a sharp-looking truck. I used to do the buy, drive it, then trade it on a new one thing (up until airbags and OBDII). I know what you mean- it sure is tough to take that final look at your old faithful truck.

Still have mine after 17 years.Just wished that I hadn't sold my 86 civic si to buy the ranger.

i am on 12 years with rbv's first was an 84 b2 with a rod knock it lasted 6 months and got a 302.

In a month it'll be a year since I last drove my extended cab..I really should finish that thing, then 2 months after that it'll be 5 years since I got it.

I've had TRS-1 for like 16 years. I could never part with it. Even though I haven't driven it for a while, it would be like selling one of my kids.

I have had mine for like 2 years now but my dad had it before that. so combined we have had it 23 years i think. and only one engine swap. I think i have been on TRS for almost a year.

you guys make me feel bad. i have gone through 3 rbv's in under 3 years..... i do miss em all....

86

Going on 12th year with mine...picked it up in Ridgecrest, CA approx 1 year old.

I've been a member of TRS since I think November 2004, right about the time that I bought my 94 Mazda. Still wish I wouldn't have traded that truck when I bought my 05.
