so i got a set of 4 used bfg 31x10.50r15 all terrian tires today. and i went to smog it and... it failed due to computer being reset cause the battery had died the other day :annoyed: and then i went to the dezert to offroad a little with my new tires and when i got back guess what. yes. there was a nice big nail in one of my new tires :shok: i was pissed.

ill take it to the tire shop to fix it tomorrow. also... to replace the clutch its gonna be 650 bux :icon_surprised:

what a life... as my great gradnpa always used to put it :icon_thumby:

You can't replace the clutch? Live in a development or complex that won't let you work on cars? A clutch kit is $200. The work is tough, but it's simple. You're going to pay them $450 labor. Ranger parts aren't heavy, especially if you seperate the t-case from the tranny. You're going to be doing what while they work on your truck? $450 worth of drinking beer and eating Pringles?

Put on your Viking helment and have a go!

no, i dont drink orsmoke. the clutch kit is 350 for my truck. i dont have the time or toold to replace the clutch and if i screwd up i would never fix it due to limited time and money. i live in a house and i work on my truck all the time when im not busy.

Wow, rough day. Tomorrow will be better.......I hope

eh. ive had worse. ima get the tire fixed tomorrow after summer school.

and btw. i paid $42.50 for me to do an oil change today :annoyed: (mobile 1 5w20 full synthetic 4 quarts + filter)

but i also found out my truck has a k&n air filter today though. so :thefinger:

I love this guy's attitude. Reminds me of this crabby old man who lived across the street from me when I was little. :D

My dad has a farm, 2 old barns and a big steel building. Plenty of shop space to work when it's not freezing cold. Only problem is I need to hook up some sort of cow fence transformer to my tool box to keep him out of it. Every time I try to work on something I spend 3 hours just wandering around from barn to barn searching for my tools, only to give up and grab a pipe wrench or something.
