My on-board air setup is done and is as follows:

http://s268.photobucket.com/albums/jj28/abaryth/Ranger_Wheelin/on-board air/

Air filter > lubricator > a/c compressor > oil seperator > check valve > air tank

From the tank > particle/water filter > hose coupler
From the tank > (back to the engine compartment) > adj. electric pressure switch > in cab gauge

I've read a lot of posts and people are using ATF, PAG 46, 20/50 motor oil and air tool oil. Anyone have any advice on which is BEST??? I'm currently using 20/50 with a little MMO in there and all is well. This is a fun and easy upgrade that anyone can do in a day or two. If you have any questions feel free to ask! Check out the pictures!

I welded up the stock holes after cutting off the pipes and just tapped the backside of the manifold using 1/4" NPT Pnufit "push to connect" fittings on all the components.

pag oil is what the compressor is "supposed" to have...but i dont think it would really matter. oil is oil, as long as you dont run it dry.
