Just got a '99 Supercab 4x4 4.0 with 220,000 miles on it. It's in pretty good shape but has lots of little nitpicky things to fix. I've already found a nice tutorial for taking out the dash...several bulbs appear to need replacement, and the needle on the oil pressure gauge is "trapped" under the pin that is supposed to be its resting place when the engine is not running. I'm going to have to pull the dash to replace bulbs so I'll tackle that while in there. Will that needle slide off its shaft (and back on). Or might there be enough flex to gently lift it up and around the pin? BTW, the gauge appears to be functioning as it pegs itself under the pin while driving, and drops way below when I shut the engine down.
Other items...driver's seat needs to be reupholstered...
remote locks seem to have some obstruction. Driver's side works...mostly, but passenger side makes sound like the motor is working but the button never moves. Opens fine manually.
door chime keeps ding ding dinging even with key out of the switch, but stops as soon as the door is closed.
Two OBD II codes that I have to deal with to get inspection sticker...
Probably some more by the time I finish with the above list
