Anyone have any old car phones sitting around they don't want? Looking for a complete setup. Doesn't matter if it works. As long as it looks like it does.

I have a few from work, I'll put a set together tomorrow and get you a pic.

Cool. Thanks.

I need one for the resto I'm doing on my police Mustang.

I have a Motorola bag phone from 1985 or so. The handset looks about like the one in the pic above. You're more than welcome to it if it will meet your needs, Jim.

Here's what I've got, can include a booster and antenna as well.

Cool guys. I'll need the transmitter box thingyy that goes with it all and the cables. I had one of these I got new in 1990 and pitched it a couple years ago figuring I'd never need it. Can you still find antennas for car phones?

I have a thread for something else in the parts wanted section, but this doesnt seem to apply.

Do you really want all the extra wiring and stuff in the car? They don't have analog towers anymore, so they phones don't actually work unless you get a new digital one..... thats how it works here anyways?

Even if it doesn't work It would still look awesome. Don't know if its possible but try to convert to digital and make it functional

It doesn't have to work, but it all has to be all there. I'll be mounting a complete radio system in the car that will never get used as well.

Do you not have a whole setup?

Pretty sure I can find it all, just a lotta dead weight that hides where you never see it. I'll let ya know tomorrow if it's all there.

Wrong. We still have an analog phone in one of our service trucks and it works. At least on the northeast.
