My credo
I poop in the furnace.
My truck only has 3 vacuum ports (brake booster, pcv valve, and hvac controls). The nipple on the intake manifold for the Hvac control port was cracked and I had to grind it down and epoxy it in order to fix it so that port doesn't exist anymore.

I can't see a reason why it would matter but figured id ask first. Any issue putting a T-fitting on the nipple for the brake booster line at the manifold to run a new line to the hvac controls?

Don't really see another good option except buying a new intake... I NEED MY AIR CONDITIONING BACK! blowing from the defrost vents just isn't cutting it. :icon_rofl:

I dont see why it would...and if does you can undo it and try elsewhere....or fart on it.

you said nipple.

I did try running the vacuum line into the cab and sucking on it real hard while driving in order to get the vents to move. It didn't work. I just dont suck enough. ;missingteeth;

Wait.... what? Where am I right now. I thought ALL your posts were in "The Tailgate"

I do occasionally have serious discussions! Usually anything before 5pm is normal...

Worst thing that can happen is your brakes quit working. :dunno:

Vacuum is vacuum, but to really suck you need a Dyson.

I hate every single human being on this site...

Without adding to the smart assery, the answer is yes, it'll work. Why not drill out the broken nipple, tap it to 1/8 pipe, and screw a threaded nipple into the hole? Just be careful to get all the aluminum particles out of the manifold maybe with a vacuum cleaner.
