My credo
A properly suspensioned Ranger can be safely airborne for up to 4 seconds at a time! =:O
Yeah, looks like good ol' Rock Auto just abandoned their sub-forum here... any-hoo, suckered in by the low "clearance" price less than a year ago, picked up the LITENS 999380A belt-tensioner, and just 10 months (and LESS than 3k miles!) later, it's chirping like a crazed "dinosaur" bird, and doing who-knows-what damage to my serpentine belt of similar age.

Right out of the box I was disappointed to see that it used a Torx-45 as the main mounting bolt, instead of a simple 15mm hex-head like the OEM unit, I guess because the Torx "self-centers" into a beveled hole. So off to Ho-Freight to buy a T-45 socket that's needed for exactly NOTHING else on my planet... not to mention you can't get the full torque on da torx, cuz the fan gets in the way... unlike a simple offset 15mm wrench which gets in there with PLENTY of clearance.

Long-short, I'm back on Rock Auto, looking at either the Dayco (which shows it using the simple bolt), or the AC/Delco "Professional GOLD" which doesn't show the bolt, but it has the beveled hole, which suggests that it also uses the T-45... or some other obscure drive-method I don't currently have. 🤦‍♂️

What say ye, RKIs? Is Dayco a go? Does FoMoCo even make these OEM parts any longer?
