Here's a picture of a Dana 28 and Dana 35 spindle with dimensions shown.

I believe the D35 spindle is on the left, D28 on the right.
 
I dont know. Not so dumb. The way the wording of the sentence would indicate 28 on left and 35 on right. Seeing as we here read from left to right. I dont know the answer to question, just pointing out why he and I would think other way around.
 
What it comes down to is the d35 is obviously gonna be stronger and beefier then the 28 right? Well the larger one (1-3/4") is the one that'd be for the d35, and the smaller one (1-5/8") is what would be for the d28.
 
You know what I could assume that. But sometimes assuming comes back and bites me in the ass. Plus in our English language we list things from left to right. If in Japan then right to left.

see i thought the same thing but than i thought:icon_confused: maybe they milled it down to use bigger stronger bearings :dunno::dunno:does any body know for sure

The bigger one (on the left) is the Dana 35.
 
larger one is for d35.

and in japan don't they read up to down?:icon_confused:
 
in japan i thought they read from the bottom of the page up. and from right to left so completly oppisite to us
