ok I locked keys in truck

ok if you have vent windows(idk if rangers ever hav)get 2 allen wrenches and a pair os vice grips, stick both through crack(angel in) use one with the pliars on it to push the button and the other to turn the handle, and viola! reach in and pull the handle or hit unlock if you have electric locks

or if you have a sliding rear window,a little prying with a tiny screwdriver should open the latch, and climb in

if you dont have either, ask a cop they can always help to jimmy a door open

lock out

Snap-on and Mac sell Slim-Jim kits.

Slide the flat blade Slim-Jim into the door between the felt wiper and door glass just above the lock assembly, move the Slim around until the lock button moves and you'll know your in the right spot. Pull up in that area until the button pops up.

yep, hell I've even done that with my antenna.

Locks

Never locked MY OWN keys in my car :idiot: but worked for dealers for 33 years so I had the "PRO" kit.

When you used a antenna to get into your own car, did you brake it off of YOUR fender or the cars next to you? :icon_thumby:

People who want to steal aren't going to be stopped (or even slowed down) by somebody here not posting information on a random internet forum. If they just want to rob the truck, they bust a window. It's not that hard or that loud and it's faster than any other method.

You want security? Drive a shitheap with nothing inside worth stealing. And paint it pink so nobody carjacks it. And only keep $5 of gas in the tank.

Yes, I believe that we all understand that if someone wants it bad enough, they'll take it no matter what. But we don't have to make things any easier on them. Some alarm systems are wired directly to the window so that if you smash it, the alarm goes nuts right off the bat.

My security is the same as it's always been. Word of mouth has gotten around that it's not a good idea to mess with my stuff. My one former friend was good at making me sound like some lunatic redneck, and I didn't bother to discourage it because people left my $h!t alone because of it. And if I ever caught someone messing with my stuff.....well....it wouldn't be pretty.

I clearly was not aware of this and did use it and only took seconds to get in.
I do think owners should be aware like shown on the video.
I hope I didnt stir up anything by asking the question in the first place but you guys helped me get it unlocked.
