Has any one installed an oil temperature gage on their 3.0? Over the weekend I installed oil pressure gage and now want to put in a temperature gage, but cant really find a place to put the sending unit in. Is there some way to install one in oil pan with out taking it off?

It depends where you want to measure the temperature. It's not a race car and modern oils will perform well even at higher temps. If you have doubts about heat then use synthetic oil.

To install one in the oil pan you'd either have to weld a bung in the pan for a sender or you may be able to buy an oil pan plug with a hole tapped in the center for the sender - try NAPA for that.
