So my truck is running weird after doing a timing belt change. I've taken it to a shop after checking everything and the shop as well, they told me to pull my timing cover and check everything. I know the camshaft and crankshaft are dead nuts, cause if it wasn't it would run horrible. I know because I've done it more than once. So I read, the oil pump has to be aligned correctly because the camshaft sensor is mounted to it? The oil pump pulley is most likely off a tooth or something.

If your truck the one in your sig, yes,it does have a cam sensor. The oil pump has a mark that has to be aligned.I,m pretty sure its a diamond on the oil pump pulley, check the back timing cover about 10 oclock
