I am doing to oil pressure gauge fix and would like to know where is the oil pressure switch located?

Right side of the engine block towards the rear below the head. Only thing threaded into the block there with a one wire connection.

Yes, behind the passenger side head on the block next to the bell housing

Not sure the PS60 sender will fit in there, may need to add an extension

It's tight back there. I removed the original switch and replaced it with an elbow fitting and braided steel hose to remote mounted pressure sensor. About the only way I could touch the original location was from below the truck.

I am mounting an oil pressure gauge under my '05's dash as the truck did not come with one. I purchased a spacer from Amazon that mounts in between the oil filter and the block. There are 4 ports on the spacer or pillow to tap into. I am mounting an oil pressure sender onto one of the ports so it sends information by a wire to the electronic gauge. There is plenty of room in the engine bay to do this. I purchased the parts at NAPA and used a VDO gauge.

Where did you find the elbow and SS braided line?

I bought a Glowshift oil filter sandwich adaptor from amazon. The quality of the piece was top notch... been on my truck since Aug of 18. Zero issues this far.

I like it... it leaves the factory switch/warning light system untouched. On a 4.0L it left lots of room for a gauge sender and/or mechanical connection.

What thread size did you purchase?

Never mind I figured it out. It is 3/4"-16 Thread.

You've seen the light... these are pretty slick and zero headaches.
