I have recently had a short block rebuild with a reman head. I can not get oil pressure to show. I've installed 2 different sending units and now have a mechanical gauge. The builder used the original oil pump ( said they weren't available to them) the head was purchased through Autozone, this is the 2nd head, the 1st one had issues with #1 cylinder valves. I've checked and double checked the timing to be correct. The only thing I can come up with is something didn't get a plug internally. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
