I heard you need a dual sump oil pan for the average 302 ranger swap. I have a bran new pan but i need the pump.... what cars come with this style of pan??

Mustangs, Cougers, Crown Vics... a lot of 80's Ford cars.

I think the pumps are pretty well standard, just the pickup changes. I just told the parts guy I needed one for a Mustang.

Pumps are not application specific, all 289/302 pumps are the same in that regard. It's the pickup tube that bolts onto the pump that requires it match the pan.

When I did my swap way back when, I used a pickup for an 88 Mustang since that's what the pan came from. A CV, Grand Marquis and Fox body cars will all use the correct pan/pickup combo for this swap.
