ok all i have a 94 b3000 and i hVE RECENTLY DISCOVERED A oil leak that was not bad at first and i thought it was the drain plug seal but i have just replaced it and it is still leaking in fack it has only gotten wores any ideas as to what it could be it seems to be coming from the drain plug but i cant find it.

probably either your oil pan gasket or rear main oil seal. But maybe also your valve cover gaskets. does it smell like burnt oil after driving it?

no there is no smell of burnning oil in fact top of engine is very clean, i am starting to think it is the rear main seal or pan gasket as well is there anyway do detirmine it for sure as i would like to only replace what i have to, as budget is tight right now but i don't want to lose all my oil.

Well if it is either of the two (pan or rear main), it is enough work that you may as well do both. Trans needs to be removed for rear main and I believe engine has to be jacked up to replace the pan gasket. The gaskets/seals are cheap.

Or just leave it alone if it is not leaking too bad.
