I took my passenger side valve cover off just kinda lookin becuase i have been considering putting on roller rockers. But long story short i got it back together(nothing diffrent from what it was before) and took it for a drive and when i got back oil was POURING out of the Drivers side of the motor. the motor did drip oil before when i shut it off but this was a steady stream while it was running. it looks like the oil pan gasket "blew out" of the side. Does any one know why it would do this??? The CEL came on right before i got home but i havent pulled the codes yet. Any ideas???
Thanks

Seems like You have worn out piston rings. IOf I'm not mistaking... You have a lot of "oil stains" around your vaccum hoses, oil fill up neck and generally on most every oil gasket. If this is the case Your PCV is clugged so oil steam pressure is being builded up in the motor. Therefor oil finds a way out throug the weakest seal/gasket/hose. But I could be wrong (You hope).
