Hey guys while replacing my radiator today i had to take the air filter out and i noticed some oil in the airbox with the filter..the truck rins fine and dosent smoke so i dont think it is the piston rings..heard it could be the PCV valve but i took it out and shook it and i can hear it rattle so im assumign it is good? it dosent pour out of the box or anything just a small amount was in there. thanks.

well i just took off the PCV valve and i can both blow air and suck air through it so that means it is bad right? isnt is suppost to be a one way valve?

Put a new one in there every oil change and you will be sure and certain it is working as designed. As the miles pile up on our engines that little valve becomes more and more important.
